I am the individual behind TacticalMHz. This website serves as my personal record of work with tactical communications, two-way radios, mesh networking, electronics modifications, and equipment built for reliable performance in demanding conditions.

I am a current law enforcement professional with 22 years of experience, primarily in operational and supervisory roles. My responsibilities have included conducting detailed investigations, leading teams in the field, providing training to personnel, and participating in major incident responses. I have collaborated with other agencies on significant security operations.

I am a graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety’s School of Police Staff and Command, a respected program focused on advanced leadership and management in public safety. I hold an Amateur Radio Technician license. Throughout my career, I have received multiple commendations and was recognized with the National Liberty Museum Valor Award.

This background has given me direct insight into the real-world demands placed on communications tools and equipment in challenging environments. TacticalMHz exists to document my testing, construction, and evaluation of practical solutions.

My current focus includes two-way radio programming and integration, mesh network configurations, custom 3D-printed cases and adapters, wearable antennas, portable communications systems, and electronics modifications that enhance gear for everyday carry or field use.

If this type of work interests you, I post photographs, videos, and updates on Instagram at @tacticalmhz. Feel free to send a direct message there with questions about radio configurations, mesh networks, custom modifications, or how operational experience applies to personal projects.
